Phoenix Flow Measurement Ltd. was established in the summer of 1990, with the aim of assisting UK users in various flow measurement related industries. To this end, we can source both precision and general purpose Flow Measurement instrumentation, such as flowmeters and computers, and provide local advice and support.

We have been an established name in the area of flow measurement for over 25 years and enjoy an excellent reputation for quality and service.

Acting as sole UK agents and distributors for the FTI Flow Technology ranges of precision turbine flowmeters, industrial turbine flowmeters and positive displacement flowmeters is especially valuable. We also benefit from the Max Machinery range of low flow/wide range positive displacement flowmeters, including gear, piston and helical screw meters.  Due to this, Phoenix Flow have developed strong links in aerospace test stand, hydraulic test stand, engine test and sub-sea applications. These applications utilise turbines capable of 100:1 turndowns. Also Positive Displacement meters up to 2,000:1 turndowns with the capability of measuring extremely high viscosities.

From the outset we discovered a strong demand for specialist flow measurement instrumentation. We found ourselves being able to meet rigorous demands for quality and performance, notable in the Aerospace, Offshore Oil & Gas and Automotive industries. Many of our original client base are still regulars over twenty years later!

Of course we have been flexible and products have developed to meet changing demands and incorporate features previously thought to be unattainable. Flowmeters to operate over 100:1 turndowns and at extremely high pressures on deep sub-sea applications, is but one example of such development. Only by listening to the users are we able to respond and develop products accordingly. We now find ourselves able to address seemingly “impossible” applications with a minimum of fuss.

In addition we have worked closely with highly experienced sub-contractors to design, build and commission several flow test stands and portable systems. Furthermore we are able to offer what we believe to be one of Europe’s finest calibration and support services. These are fully traceable (and documented!) Primary Standard calibration services, with extremely fast turnaround times.
