The LMPVC flowmeters are plastic bodied Pelton Wheel flowmeters with no metal wetted parts. This is ideal for using with sodium hypochlorite, for example, and other corrosive chemicals. The body is PVC, with a PFA rotor and sapphire bearings. There are inline pipe connections, and sealed ferrites to protect them from chemicals. A coil senses the ferrites and produces a pulse output in relation to flow rate.
Seals are FPM as standard, but options are FKM, EPDM, Nitrile or PTFE covered FPM depending on chemical compatibility with the fluid used.
Flow ranges of the LMPVC are as follows:
- 0.01 to 0.25 litres per minute (LMPVC3.01)
- 0.02 to 1.3 litres per minute (LMPVC3.05)
- 0.03 to 4.3 litres per minute (LMPVC3.24)
- 0.04 to 6.3 litres per minute (LMPVC3.45)
- 0.08 to 15 litres per minute (LMPVC3.90)
- 0.1 to 28 litres per minute (LMPVC3.220)
